Fully Parametric Drag Chain
Description
This is a fully Parametric Drag Chain that can be adjusted to someone's needs. This Model is modifiable in the Width, Length and Height. Also, the Maximal and Minimal bend Radius can be specified. The connector pins can be set on the outside or the inside and the Chain Link can be either Closed or Open. If the Chain Link is defined as open, then there is an option to either use a Clip or a Toothpick to close the top afterwards. The Clip is automaticly gernerated and Clip'd on and the Toothpick is put through the two holes an broken off flush. The Tolerance and the Toothpick Diameter can be chosen as well. There is also an option to generate a Modifier Block to allow a Color Change in the middle. This design can be Printed without the need of Support. The parameters can either be set in the Customizer in OpenSCAD or on the Thingiverse site in the Customizer App. This is a Remix of the "fully parametrical drag chain" from Joerg Scheuermann on Thingiverse. Original on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8239 I added a Module to use a Clip to close the Drag Chain Link instead of a Toothpick. I also added a Variable for the Toothpick-Diameter, a Block that can be used as a Modifier to add a Color Change and the compatibility for the OpenSCAD/Thingiverse Customizer, so that everything can be neatly Customized without the need to go into the Code itself. I added the Clip, because i wanted this Drag Chain for my CNC and i was not satisfied with the Toothpick variant, because it would be too difficult to open and close it again when i wanted to add something later. The closed version was also not an option for me. The Clips can be easily put on and off (maybe a Flathead Screwdriver is needed). I have this Drag Chain (printed in PETG) on my CNC for almost a Year now, and i have encounterd no problems so far.
