Aerobie Flying Ring V2 220mm
Description
Based off of the famous aerobie. I printed the 200mm model from arpruss and found that it was very unstable due to the centre of lift being too far forward. To combat this I modeled mine with a more aggressive airfoil nose profile (centre facing). I also increased the size of the leading edge spoiler. As a note, I would avoid simply scaling this design as it will likely make the ring unstable. If disk turns left when thrown clockwise, bend disk downwards. Or if it turns right, bend disk upwards. Settings: - Set "Wall line count" to 30. This makes your slicer print it solid and with concentric rings so it prints extremely fast (1.5 hours only) - Set line width to 0.5mm with a 0.4mm nozzle for better strength and speed. - Use a fine layer height for smoother contours. Best is to use cura's adaptive layers with the finest layer height being 0.12 Update: V2 should fly better but must be printed with support
