KC PLAsticaster Guitar Body
Description
The KC PLAsticaster, A stratocaster body in easy to print chuncks. I printed this on an Anybucic I3 mega with a 1mm nozzle ordered from china. The total print time with a layer height of 0.6 mm was about 25 hours for all eleven parts. I used PVC Glue to glue all the pieces together. You need to make a hole for the wires for the output jack between parts 6 and 7, and a hole in part 4 to connect the ground wire with the spring plate on the back of the guitar. I had to re-drill the holes for the bridge so I included part 3 and 4 with and without holes. Placing the bridge is easy since the center seam is also the center line of the body. Part 8 through 11 are optional and though I printed them I decided to not include them in the build. These parts are included and shown in the "before the build" pictures. Parts 1 through 4 are printed at 80% infill, the rest at 15%. The body weighed 1,7 kg, which is slightly heavier than most cheap stratocaster bodies.
