Bike rim air scoop
Description
Air "Scoops " for turning a bicycle wheel into an anemometer style of kinetic art piece. By adding 10-20 of these along the edge of a bicycle rim (without the tire), you can create a water-wheel type of project. When the wheel is set horizontally, a decent breeze should keep the wheel spinning. Note, the 4mm hole in the bottom is un-threaded. After printing I use a tap to create an M5 thread that I can use to bolt this scoop to the rim (the rim also has to have a hole in it for the bolt to go through). These are designed for "clincher" style bicycle rims, and generally one scoop is used between each spoke (or between every other spoke).
