Description
This device attracts mosquitoes thanks to mosquito-irresistible UV light emitted by UV leds. The beasts then get caught in the descending air flow created by a very silent Arctic fan, and they finally dry to death. No chemicals involved, no sound, ideal device for quiet nights and stingless outdoor dinners. You'll need: - twelve UV leds, 5mm diameter - four 100 ohms resistors - one 12V 120mm Arctic fan ARCTIC F12 Silent (about $7 a piece on amazon - one 12V power supply - one small switch - one power socket - a piece of mosquito screen I've mounted in parallel four groups of 3 leds, each group with one 100 ohm resistor so that if one led burns, the other groups won't suffer.
