Shimano Hollowtech Crank Cap Tool TL-FC16
Description
I modified the original part to fit a 1/4" drive torque wrench. The little cap which this tool loosens and tightens must be torqued to 0.7-1.5Nm to move the left crank close enough to the bottom bracket bearings, but not too tight to pinch the bearings. Therefore, per Shimano specs and instructions, the cap must be first tightened to the spec and then the crank retaining bolts tightened. I did not have a 1/4" to hex drive adapter, so I remixed the original to have a standard 1/4" drive opening.50% infill ensures that teeth are strong on the tool. I printed in PTEG.
