TL Smoother mount / bracket / holder (also for FLSUN)
Description
This design mounts the TL Smoothers into the chassis, especially useful for (but not limited to) the FLSUN models. The design specifically considers issues including: 1. air convection for heat dissipation in the chassis, so that not only the smoother chips get cooled down more easily but also that the mount structure won't affect too much the air convection inside the chassis (see the pics); in this design the chips should be fine even without the heat sinks; 2. ease of installing the chips onto the mount; the mount has a clip-on design to hold the chips (see the pics) so that no screws or glue guns are needed. To have the clip-on design function well while not spending too much time for over-detailed printing, I employ the 'adaptive layers' function in Cura so that a higher resolution is used only for wherever the details are needed. From the screenshot, you could see the parameters I used, namely a default resolution of 0.12mm +/- 0.06mm with a step of 0.03mm. You could certainly try a normal fixed-resolution mode and I would be interested in knowing how the clip-on design works out in your prints. [Update 25 Aug. 2020] Version 3 uploaded for improved structure. I noticed that the base of v2 may mildly bend over time (if you used PLA) due to the hot chips and gravity. Although this slight bending doesn't really affect anything but v3 should work better if you use PLA.
