A nivel del programa general, el equipo de desarrollo indica que el código es más estable y mejor depurado que la versión precedente (1.1.9) y que se han optimizado los algoritmos más importantes que gestionan las aceleraciones, consiguiendo una gestión de los motores paso a paso más eficiente - suave, con menos vibraciones - ruido y por tanto mayor precisión y calidad. También indican que esta optimización, implica una reducción de los tiempos de impresión. Esta optimización alcanza también a las placas basadas en la Atmega 2560, como es la de la Artillery.
