John Deere Lawn Tractor Pedal
Description
I recently bought an old John Deere 111 lawn tractor that was missing both its pedal covers. I printed a couple of these to replace them and so far they're working great! They're not identical to the stock ones, but they do the job. The opening is 9.5x26x125 mm. The pedals on the tractor measured slightly smaller than that, and these should work for any model with similar sized pedals (I think everything from that era was this design). They're not a perfectly tight fit on mine, but my lawn tractor and 3d printer are not in the same place so dialing in tolerances was tricky. I got close enough and called it good. :-) I printed mine out of PETG, but I don't see any reason PLA or other materials wouldn't work fine. I used fairly high wall line counts and infill since they're designed to be stepped on. It's not a huge part so even 100% infill wouldn't be _that_ much plastic. With the PETG I had trouble with the bridge across the gap at the open end. I added a small custom support just to the very end and it worked nicely. In PLA I might not have had the same problem.
