DIN14 Plug

DIN14 Plug

Description

This is a complete replacement for DIN14 plug used in Atari ST, Atari PC and Amstrad PC1512 & PC1640 computers. Almost impossible to buy today. Pin diameter should be 1,25 mm. Matching pins are DEGSON DG333J-3,5 or PTR STL1350-3.5-V. Screw is 1.2x5 or 2x5. Pins source: https://www.conrad.com/p/ptr-pin-strip-precision-no-of-rows-1-pins-per-row-7-51350075001g-1-pcs-732191 (you will need 2 of these for 1 plug). DIN14 Assembly.stl is only for reference. DIN14 Base + DIN14 Shell Shroud Long + DIN14 Grip long is an optimal set for 3D printing. There is also a "pinholder" thing, which is what its name says - it is a tool that makes it easier to push the pins into the pin base. I've added a shrouded shell version, and a version with a longer joint between shell and grip. The "shroud" and "grip" bodies height are a compromise between rigidity and ability to print multiple parts at once on Ender-3 in "one at a time" mode, which limits the height of the element to ~28 mm (gantry height). Longer overlap would be more rigid and also would look better, but it would make the "shroud" body too tall, to fit under the Ender's gantry.
