Ender 5 LED bar bracket
Description
Needed some more light on my Ender 5 print bed. Picked up some cheap LED bars from Banggood (https://www.banggood.com/50CM-SMD-5730-36-LED-Rigid-Strip-Tube-Bar-Light-Lamp-With-U-Aluminium-Shell-PC-Cover-DC12V-p-1088115.html?rmmds=myorder&ID=233520867&cur_warehouse=CN) and designed these brackets to mount the bars behind the gantry and at the front of the printer. The front bar includes a PS3 Eye camera mount on the LHS bracket. To use the mount simply peel away the foam from the bottom of the PS3 eye, remove the two screws, remove the metal insert and use the same screws to secure the PS3 eye to the mount. The rear bar is hidden from a bed level camera lens so that it does not mess with the exposure but it shines down at the print at an angle which allows for some nice light scattering. I use it on a printer that has had the Ender 5 bed raise mod applied which will also affect where it sits relative to the gantry. Installation: The LHS bracket at the back uses an M3 screw to apply pressure between the bracket and carriage to keep it in place. The RHS bracket at the back uses an M3 screw and nut through the locating hole to lock it in place. The front brackets simply use T-nuts to lock them in place.
