Dremel Drop Indicator (for bed level verification)
Description
The design intent was to develop a drop indicator holder that would confirm bed level, switch operation, and nozzle offset. Other appliactions are possible, limited only by the imagination of the user. The design is still a work in progress and modification will be uploaded in the future. Updated 7 Jul 2020, the orginal design to include magnets to hold to guide rods and to include 8mm and 0.375in collars. Files Descriptions: SSW-Depth Gauge Holder Dremel (IPS) 0_375in Collar v2.STL - 0.375in diameter collar and IPS threads for binding screw #10-32. Socket head Cap Screw SSW-Depth Gauge Holder Dremel (MKS) 0_375in Collar v2.STL - 0.375in diameter collar and MKS threads for binding screw M5 x 0.8mm. Socket Head Cap Screw SSW-Depth Gauge Holder Dremel (MKS) 8mm Collar v2.STL - 8mm diameter collar and MKS threads for binding screw M5 x 0.8mm. Socket Head Cap Screw. The counter bore is for the respective Socket Head Cap Screw thru hole; however, the next surface screw hole is set to be either tapped or drill through for optional hex nut on the opposite side. Prior to using this holder, create an assembly with this and the target drop indicator model to insure proper fit. As always, please feel free to add suggestions for improvement or add features.
