YEAT: Yellow Elite Alpha Trooper
Description
June 27, 2020: yeat spacer 1, 2 and 3 combined into "yeat spacer combined". Also added "YEAT SUPPORT COLLAR" to be slid onto the front of the plunger tube ______ May 31, 2020: Added "yeat barrel holder.stl" to help position 17/32" brass barrel ______ May 30, 2020: File set still in alpha. Tested to be dimensionally accurate, blaster can successfully prime and fire. Still looking into any refinements that could be made before I officially call this done. Current file set only includes bolt for sleeper breech configuration. Looking into bolts for lazy breech and pusher breech configurations as well. ______ This is a file set for the very niche application of fitting a spare retaliator plunger tube (say... from an XPT mod) into an original N-Strike (Yellow) Alpha Trooper; no shell cutting required! Includes 3 spacers to fit the plunger tube into the shell, print 2 of each. 1 goes in front of the 2 pegs, 3 goes in between the 2 pegs, and 2 goes behind the 2 pegs. Includes a new catch to work with the retaliator plunger rod. Includes a spring spacer to be inserted into the stock attachment point. The length of the spring spacer is designed for a stock Rival Kronos spring. (I am aware that a Rival Kronos can come with 2 different type of springs, depending on what "batch" it's from. I am not, however, sure which spring I have.) The included bolt is set up for 9/16 brass to be used in a sleeper breech configuration. I'm currently hitting about 150fps with 4.5 inches of 17/32 barrel and the aforementioned spring. To assemble, slide 9/16 brass all the way to the back of the bolt and glue in place. Then glue the deadspace filler into the back of the brass. You can use any o-ring that is 1/16" thick with an OD <17mm.
