Dust Shoe for Dewalt DWP611 on Lead 1010 CNC
Description
I modified the Fusion 360 project to fit my Dewalt DWP611 on a OpenBuilds LEAD 1010. I shrunk the entire thing and made the router hole 69mm and the vacuum hose hole 58mm. I 3d printed everything. My printer printed the router hole 68.6mm, which was tight, but with lite sanding, it went into place. The vacuum hole printed at 57.7mm which fit my tapered vacuum hose. You might want to make and print a 69mm and 58mm circle first to see how your printer will print them. I used the the 7/32" brush strips from McMaster-Carr (https://www.mcmaster.com/brush-strips/easy-cut-strip-brushes-6/). They fit perfect in the groove. Forced them down with a screwdriver and no glue was needed. I made a 3", 2.5" and a 2". I printed a 4th for a 1.5". I try to start with the one that has my bit sticking below the bristles a 1/4" or more. I also ordered M8x16 Button Head screws from McMaster-Carr. They cannot be stainless because they are what sticks to the magnets. I used these M8-1.25 threaded inserts (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002713XAY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I ordered some 3/8" Neodymium Disc Magnets from ebay. Look at the original for more details on how to assemble.
