Short barrel/body for Parker Vector fountain pen

Short barrel/body for Parker Vector fountain pen

Description

This is my study on internal threads and at the same time, I have always wanted a smaller Parker Vector fountain pen as some of my shirt pockets were not big enough for the pen. What's printed may not fit reality when printed due to some inaccuracies for such small items with close tolerances. It makes use of threads.scad library from https://dkprojects.net/openscad-threads/ Pls be sure to store threads.scad in the path of your library. The original barrel of the Parker Vector fountain pen has a "top hat" cylindrical portion at the back for the cap to post. It was really difficult to get the printer to print the exact size consistently. Sometimes it was too tight and requires sanding, sometimes too loose. To compensate for it, I made the back tapered so that even though the print is not accurate, the cap can still be posted firmly. No supports, rafts, adhesion plate necessary. Code is included so you can create your own customised barrel. The Parker Vector rollerball pen use the same threads for its barrel.
