Pelican clips to hold Surface Pro 4 to negative-angled laptop stand
Description
I have a Furinno adjustable lapdesk (K6-BK) and wanted it to hold my Surface Pro 4 at a pleasant angle for TV & video calls from bed. So I designed these little pelican-looking clips that hook over the curl at the back of the desk and keep the tablet pushed into the indent at the desk's hinge. The hinge bears nearly all of the tablet's weight. You could almost certainly remix this for other stands with a similar indent. I've included the 3MF file to make that easier. (update: the "narrower gap" version has a smaller mouth opening, for more friction so it doesn't slide around so much on the lap desk. One of the pictures here shows the difference.)
