Mars mesh generated from NASA Mars elevation data. 2m faces. Elevations exaggerated by x2 and x10. Generated from 2048x1024 image (used GDAL for scaling, so geographical information should be preserved). Source data: https://astrogeology.usgs.gov/search/details/Mars/GlobalSurveyor/MOLA/Mars_MGS_MOLA_DEM_mosaic_global_463m/cub Caveats: - Mesh: Not watertight, holes at the North and South pole. .obj is in quads, is not triangulated. - Not entirely accurate, assumed that Mars was perfect sphere to generate the mesh instead of a more sophisticated Martian geoid, which the elevation data is based on. - Elevation is exaggerated 2x and 10x to a reference radius.
