FLSUN Corner Bracket
Description
This is a heavily modified remix of the 2020 Corner Bracket by TheStapler. The design of the FLSUN Cube makes it impossible to construct a totally rigid frame. Even tightening the corner bracket screws as much as possible doesn't solve the rigidity problem. Therefore some kind of frame reinforcement for the corners is in order. I've created 4 versions: A - reworked full featured 3-way corner bracket B - Shielded version of A C - "drop in" version of A (no disassembly needed) D - "drop in" version of B (no disassembly needed) All versions feature: compatible with M4*10 hex head bolts 4 bolts per bracket face (original has 3) cable routing channel recess built in The cable routing channel is for those installations (like mine) that reticulate the control cabling within the unused channels of the aluminium extrusion. This makes it possible to still fit brackets to corners which have cabling reticulated through them. Obviously, bolts & t-nuts can only be fitted into unused extrusion channels. Pair drop in t-nuts (or square nuts as supplied at default) with the C & D versions to avoid disassembling the frame. Note that the resulting structure MAY be less rigid compared to using the A & B versions. The shielded variants are designed to include the end caps for the Y-axis drive rods. These caps stop the rods from slipping out of position. A Cube will require two sets of two opposing corners for the top corners. Note: Fully equipping all 8 corners will consume 96 x bolts & 96 x T-nuts (12 per bracket).
