Bunk Bed to Fit 18" Doll - Our Generation and Designa Friend Doll

Description

Bunk Bed to Fit 18" Doll - Our Generation and Designa Friend Doll This Idea came along as my daughter was saving her money up to buy a bunk bed for her dolls. After reviewing that the bunk bed cost approx £50 I decided to try and design my own. This project takes approx 50hrs to print and requires glue to stick the parts together. I have created a Test Bed Slat file, It is a good idea to try printing this first to ensure the joints in this project will work on your printer and settings. IMPORTANT **You need supports for this but only supports touching the base** This is still a work in progress as I have not finished printing all the parts to take a photo of the finished item. I have added a spreadsheet I made to show me the cost and timings of printing. Please Note: im sure your times will differ with different machines etc. Items you will need to print *Ensure you rotate the stl's I have included a few screenshot to show you the correct rotation - See SS1.png SS2 and SS3*: Test Bed Slat - *Highly recommended* Bed Slat - Cheaper - *Qty 8 Needed* Head Board 1 Head Board 2 Head Board 3 Head Board 4 Tail Board 1 Tail Board 2 Tail Board 3 Tail Board 4 Ladder 1 Ladder 2 Ladder 3 Once printed you will need to remove the tiny supports from the triangle male joints, these should snap off easily, or at least they did for me. So far I have been gluing the pieces together with Gorilla Epoxy Resin Glue ** Update ** I have now finished printing the full doll bed. Fits dolls perfect and my mum has made some mattresses, pillows and duvets. The Gorilla Epoxy worked really good, and the bed can hold at least 2.5KG
