Laser-B
Description
I got an old 3D printer from a friend and wanted to repurpose the NEMA17 stepper motors and the 195mm long hiwin MGN9 linear rails . So I bought a 6000mW NEJE laser. Took some measurements and started to design some plastic around the parts and this is what it became. I used the machine for some engraving and cutting. The main reason for this type of design is I can place the machine on the product that needs to be engraved or cut. For more information about the NEJE laser, what materials can be cut and/or engraved, watch some YouTube videos about it. I managed to cut through 5mm baltic birch plywood with (manual) compressed air assist. Introduction Video: https://youtu.be/t6olvmp0VWE
