The PickleStyle is the freestyle frame i wanted to achieve for good months now. The design is quite classic as it's intended to be a simple, usable and decently light freestyle frame. My current build is 330g dry without GoPro. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/T9bPohlGuoI" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/DQd0OrIihlo?start=385" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/2lr54aJUDHg" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> ## Frame specs please note that this frame only supports 20x20 electronics, it's a design decision that allows me to keep the design simpler, lighter and because 20x20 electronics are really good on this kind of build nowadays. - Squish X layout (up to 5.2" props) - 3 20x20 mounts (sorry, no 30x30, only mini electronics) - HD ready (You can easily fit a Vista in the rear, you can also mount an Air Unit in the center) - Supports 16x16 or 19x19 motors - 91g assembled The frame is provided with some common TPU parts : - SMA antenna mount - VTX cam - Gopro universal support - Gopro Session universal mount ## Mounting hardware needed - 2 x M3 25mm standoffs (front) - 6 x M3 20mm standoffs - 4 x M3 pressnuts (for the rear plate to attach arms in the center, ask Cncmadness they can install them) - 10 x M3 8mm steel screws (top plate, bottom rear standoffs) - 2 x M3 10mm steel screws (bottom front standoffs) - 4 x M3 12mm steel screws (center, through the pressnuts) - 4x M3 14mm steel screws (center, supports center standoffs) ## How to get this frame cut in carbon fiber Use the DXF files and get it cut following your specs at any CNC service you like. Here are my recommendations : * https://www.cncmadness.com (amazing quality & service, based in Canada) I recommend you to ask for the following specs : - 4 x squishX_arm : 5mm thick CF with a slight chamfer (0.3mm) - 1 x front plate : 2mm or 2.5mm thick CF - 1 x nose blade : 2mm thick CF (this part goes in the front between the plate and the standoffs to level the standoffs and reinforce the nose. A printed part would probably work as well) - 1 x rear plate : 2mm thick CF - 1 x top plate : 2mm thick CF ## Gopro mount The gopro mount comes in 2 parts : the universal mount to put on the frame. you'll need a M5 nut and a gopro screw (that you get with all gopro accessories). The second part is the GoPro Session case that fits an ND filter on the front. I upgraded both base to be beefier and mount to have corners of the session fov on superview ## Insta360 GO mount I also added a mount for the Insta360 go as it's a very interesting tiny cam. It goes on the universal base and also comes with a cap to better hold the cam in place.
