Corian®, which is the brand we use, is the original material of this type, created by DuPont scientists in 1967, used for different architectural and household purposes. It is well known for its durability and easy cleaning properties, and more specially the fact that it is a non porous material, so no dirt or pathogens should stick to it when cleaned properly and constantly.
