Glass clips for Printrbot Simple Metal with mic6 aluminum heatbed

Description

These Are Clips I Made To Hold Down A 6"X8", 1/8" Thick Borosilicate Glass Pane I Got For My Pb Simple Metal That Has The Mic6 Aluminum Heat Bed Upgrade. These Use The Four Outermost Bolts That Attach The Wings Of The Bed To The Aluminum Part. I Had To Get Longer M3 Screws To Attach The Clips. I'Ve Included The .Stl File That Contains Both Sides (It Will Need To Be Printed Twice To Get A Full Set) And Also The .Stl Files For The Two Sides Separately, Just In Case. After Making The First Clips (Pictured) With Pla, I Discovered After A Few Prints They Began To Warp From The Heat So The Screws Kept Coming Loose. I Reprinted Them In Abs And They Have Been Holding Up Well, So I Recommend Abs For These. *Update*: Printrbot Has Released A Bed Insulator Kit For This Heat Bed. It Includes A Foil Sheet To Help Insulate The Bed, As Well As Delrin Spacers To Add More Clearance Underneath The Bed, And Spacers To Isolate The Steel Wings From The Aluminum. The Spacers For The Wings Create A "Step" Between The Aluminum And Steel. I'Ve Added Glass_Clips W/Delrin Spacers.Stl For Download That Adds A "Step" To The Clips To Compensate. If You Do Not Have The Spacers, Download The Original .Stl File.
