2040 V-slot Linear Slider (with preload)
Description
This model is is linear slider for a 2040 V-slot extrusion. This model aims to achieve linear motion without using wheels. This is one of the cheapest way to make make motion system. Cheaper then using V-slot rollers (wheels) or linear rods + bearings setup. Why did I design this? I needed a cheap motion system for a 3D printer I was planning to make. I already had a 3D printer and had some spare V-slot extrusions, so why not use it! That is how the idea started. After experimenting for a while I though that it would be a good idea to add some sort of spring system to it so that is fits better terminology: The "spring loaded slide heads" or SLSH: These are the 6 parts that actually make contact with the 2040 extrusion.
