50mm Lens Holder with magnet holes
Description
This is a 50mm lens holder. The lens snaps into place. Use ABS filament so it has enough flex for the snap. For extra sturdy holding, you can drill and tap the side holes for 6-32 set screws. Two depressions are provided which could hold up to 17mm diameter magnets to better hold it in place. One photo shows magnets holding it on a horizontal metal surface. Or these can be drilled out for bolts too. The center of the lens is about 38.5mm above the bottom (which matches the height of the LitiHolo laser for making holograms). This is great for doing optical experiments and even experimenting with holograms. The FreeCad file is included in case you want to adjust sizes.
