Tevo Tarantula Pro E3D V6 Simple Mount (No Support)
Description
This mount allows you to use an E3D V6 hotend with the Tevo Tarantula Pro, other models on Thingiverse are clunky and didn't print well due to the high use of support. To use: - Print this model - Remove filament from printer - Remove PTFE tube from printer - Unscrew top 4 M2 Allen screws that hold the hotend in place and move to one side - Unscrew the 2 M3 Allen bolts holding that plate in and keep the screws - Snap the E3D hotend into the mount - Use the two M3 Allen bolts to secure the new hotend (optional: use the provided spacer to ensure the hotend doesn't move) This design went through ~ 10 phases of improvement, mostly trying to optimise the design for use without support and making it bulky enough to be strong without being excessive. Update: I've updated the design to improve strength.
