Video laryngoscope blades number 1, 2, 3 and 4
Description
Proyecto ALBA is a colective of mexicans (mostly engineers) that shares techniques, tools and knowledge to aid the crew of medics that struggle the COVID-19 in Mexico. In order to expand our frontiers, we share 3 sizes of low budget videolaringoscopes. We used Finite Element Analysis and the estimated safety factor is 3.5 with 20 kg of load. As well we printed each blades and put 17 kg of load in the middle of each one (measured with a dynamometer) and they don't present bending or cracking noise. Several doctors reviewed the models and they agreed that the Videolaryngoscopes that we present here reach the stiffness to be used with patients in places where there's not videolaryngoscopy available. We would like to give a special thanks to AirAngel.org for share the models they have been working on, it was very helpful to study the shape of the blade. We have worked in this models for more than 100 hours and kindly share our models for free, so we exhort everyone interested in print it to recover only the cost of production. It's time to push togheter. The printing parameters are: Material PLA 2 mm at least of wall thickness 25% at least of infill NO SUPPORT Average speed: 50 mm/s Android Camera: 5.5, 7 and 8 mm for blade #4, 7mm for blade #1 and #2 Find us in www.facebook.com/ProyectoALBAMorelia
