Coupler spacer for Bachmann Li'l Big Hauler cars
Description
This is a spacer to drop the height of the couplers on a Bachmann Li'l Big Hauler car so they will run with standard height hook and loop cars. To attach them I used an additional self taping screw from Bachmann, just like the one already on the car, and reused the factory screw to remount the coupler to the spacer. Install: 1. remove factory coupler. 2. place the spacer with the large hole closer the center of the car. 3. Screw a small self taping screw into the large deeper hole. 4. put the original coupler on top, and screw it back down. 5. You're done! If you don't have the right screws laying around, or you would like to reinforce the screw, I'd recommend using some super glue to hold it in place. Please note they are a snug fit, so you may have to file down the edges a little if they don't go right in.
