This is a wireframe remix of the Corona door opener by AndiBl Must be made from self disinfecting plastic due to wireframe design that could otherwise harbour germs and virus particles in the gaps. 70 produced so far and distributed for free. Undergoing beta testing in the UK. This design is subject to change int eh next few weeks based on feedback. Plan to make hundreds more after testing completed and distribute to the most vulnerable. Eg BAME workers, elderly, care workers, underlying conditions. Designed for Copper3D PLA Active filament that is impregnated with copper nanoparticles. Manufacturer claims to make coronaviruses inactive within 5 minutes. Significantly increases protection for user and doesn't not require disinfection before use due to the copper nano particles in the filament. Minimised wireframe + circles design means each part costs less than £1 to make despite expensive filament used. Increase flow multiplier for better layer adhesion. No raft, just glass bed slow first layer and gluestick, gluestick, gluestick! Use elephants foot / first layer width compensation to prevent a raised edge. on the bed side of the part. I should probably add a chamfer on the edge but haven't gotten round to it. I do not recommend stacking unless you want a lot of post processing in terms of debur. Bake in oven after printing for increased part strength. Optional. Minimal part cooling to ensure maximum adhesion and part strength. Supply with retractable carabiner so that it stays outside of pockets.
