Vacuum Hose Coupler for a 1" ShopVac (to connect to a Dillon Trimmer Exhaust)
Description
In order to connect a ShopVac or 1" vacuum hose to an approximately 1" ID (25.4mm) device, in this case the Dillon Trimmer Exhaust ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4414892 ), you can either tape the vacuum directly to it, or make use of a coupler of some sort. This coupler will connect two hose (or cylinder) bodies with approximately 1" (25.4mm) ID (inside diameter) with a wall thickness of about 3 mm. It fits the Dillon Trimmer Exhaust, both the one I replicated and the original (pictured). The vacuum hose was a touch undersized/loose, so I added a 1/16" groove (about 1mm deep) 1/8" from the end and put in a 16mm o-ring that was 1.5mm thick (pictured). This allowed it to seal and grab to the coupler while still allowing it to be removed easily.
