Humidor Ventilation Grate (FreeCAD)
Description
This is a humidor ventilation grate that I designed for my Dad's humidor. The humidor measures 14in x 8.25in. I've been using .020in(.5mm) as a tolerance for parts that fit accurately and comfortably together. I designed the grate in two equal sized parts to fit my printer bed. So I designed this by under sizing the part dimensions by .040in(1mm) in both the vertical and horizontal dimensions. This gives the .020in(.5mm) clearance around all four sides. This ended up fitting extremely well and my Dad is very happy with them. I've included the FreeCAD source file. This is a very simple model to customize. I printed using ABS because I read that no odor or taste is transferred to the cigars or humidor.
