Royal Crown (remix)
Description
#### What is remixed - up scaled the model to 110mm of outer diameter. **This is important** cause the other changes was applied to the resized model. - added an insert like in the real crowns. I don't know what the correct name is, just look at the purple part in the photos. - cutted the model to parts for better printing performance. All part oriented ready for printing, if the Thingiverse will not messed them up. Apply supports at your option. #### About model parts I did this to reduce the necessary supports and printing time. I was concerned about the top part in the solid model printing because I could failed after a few hours of printing. The other side of that solution: details don't adjoin exactly due to a plastic shrinkage. And it's not easy to glued the bottom and middle parts correctly. And also you'll need a glass type table to get the smooth surface on the printed parts. If you'd like to print it in one piece but with my insert you should took _crown d110.stl_ model. Or you will need to calculate the scale yourself. #### The Insert parts It's pretty simple. Before printing the Insert itself make _crown insert holder.stl_. Make sure that it can pass freely through the crown. The point here is that the holder has the same diameter as the Insert. So, either they both fit or they will both get stuck. After all, use a glue in 2 points to hold the insert holder in place. Just push it to the crown and glued.
