Standalone Spool Holder - Compatible with LACK Enclosure
Description
Some thin spools won't fit on the spool roller I printed as part of the [Original Prusa i3 MK3 ENCLOSURE -Ikea Lack table - Prusa Research](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2864118) (the red parts in the pictures) and cardboard spools aren't stable on rollers, so I made this spool holder to solve both problems. It slides onto the rail of the other spool roller on one side, and the other side has a separate base for stability. The base connects to the side piece with an M3 bolt and a square nut. A 3/8ths-inch (9.5mm) dowel rod connects the sides and holds the spool. Print the base with support. If you can selectively add/block supports, it only needs it at the screw hole. Parts list: -Side (x2) -Base (x1) -3/8" (9.5mm) dowel rod (x1, length as required) -M3 x 20mm bolt (x1, longer length is fine) -M3 square nut Note that the bolt and nut are probably optional, the spool holder should be pretty stable even without them. Happy printing!
