Hamster Wheel (No bearings required)
Description
The bearings are Sliding bearings but due to the low coefficient of sliding friction from PLA, it does not wear much and it does not make a squeaking noise. Assembly does require glue to hold pieces together but not for strength. I built this for a large hamster that I have so the inner diameter of the wheel is 200mm. You can scale it down to whatever you feel is appropriate. The largest part is 222mm long so make sure your printer can handle that. Make sure to use PLA for the stiffness and if the hamster decides to chew on the plastic, it won't be poisoned like it would with ABS. Update: I have uploaded a part that prevents the spokes of the wheel from hitting the frame and stopping the movement of the wheel. Refer to the pictures i have uploaded on the correct orientation to print these parts and How to install them.
