BM MPSM bed rewire cable relief

BM MPSM bed rewire cable relief

Description

The Monoprice Select Mini uses a PCB heating solution for printing surface witch the cables directly soldered to it. As the printer moves, the cable stress moves that joint and causes errors related to heating, or to thermistor detection. This design is aimed at reducing that stress by coupling the cable to the frame. * It is designed to require no hardware tools and drilling. Only zip-ties are required * It is more effective when combined with heat-shrink tubing due to increased friction and rigidity. * It recommended to be installed done when a bed-rewire mod is in place, ( but not limited to it) * Fully compatible with GT2 belt tensioner mods as displayed in the pictures above. Instructions: 1. Place the base and lid over the cable. 2. Use 2 zip-ties starting from the lid, and routing it through the base slot, back upwards the cover. 3. Do NOT tie anything yet, they need to be lose and adjusted in the end. 4. Mount the base to the bed, and slide the clip under the bed, and use a zip-tie to fix it in place firmly. 5. After the base has been set in place, set the cable at the desired location and gently lock the cover clip using the previously slotted zip-ties.
