Description
<b>Description:</b> These fan adapter plates allow you to replace stock ESC fans with a larger sized 30mm or 40mm fan with a higher rpm/cfm for better ESC cooling. The adapters are designed to sit on top of the ESCs without having to remove the ESC cover plate. <b>Adapter Options: </b> 1/10 Scale ESCs (Max10, BLX100/120, etc): - 25mm to 30mm 1/8 Scale ESCs (Max6, Firma160, BLX185, etc): - 35mm to 30mm - 35mm to 40mm - 35mm to 40mm w/ embedded M3 locknuts (for those wanting to secure with locknuts rather than relying on threading into the plastic print) <b>Materials Required:</b> - (4) M3 screws to attach adapter to ESC (existing screws removed may be reused, but might too short) - (4) M3 screws to attach new fan to the adapter plate (varies depending on fan height) <b>Installation:</b> - Remove the 4 screws that attach the fan/ESC cover from the top of the ESC - Remove the stock esc fan and place the cover back on top of the ESC - Place the adapter of your choosing on top of the ESC and secure M3 screws of appropriate length - Place new fan on top of the adapter and secure with M3 screws of appropriate length Adapters have been tested to fit the following popular ESC models: - Hobbywing Max10/Max10sct/Max6/XR10 - Arrma BLX 100/120/185 - Spektrum Firma 160 - Hexfly Hex10/Hex6 <b>Changelog:</b> 10/8/2020: Added 25mm to 30mm adapter to be used on 1/10 scale ESCs such as the Max10, Max10sct, BLX100, BLX120, etc. 9/3/2020: Added 35mm to 40mm adapter with cavity for captured M3 locknuts. This design provides more strength when securing larger/heavier 12v axial fans.
