Traxxas Blue Eagle LS / LS II / Hawk / Hawk 2 / Rad / Rad 2 Front Bulkhead (1630)
Description
Front bulkhead for a variety of vintage Traxxas vehicles (Blue Eagle Series, Hawk Series, Radicator Series, Sledgehammer Series) - PN 1630. This is based on the following Grab CAD models from Nick Sweo - https://grabcad.com/library/traxxas-hawk I was excited when I found these files as I was rebuilding a Blue Eagle LSII that had a broken bulkhead. However, the dimensions are wrong for this part (in particular the mounting pattern to the chassis and shock mounting). I used the STEP files and edited it to match the correct dimensions. The change I did does not look the best around the front most holes but it works. At some point I may come back and redo this or try to fix the original files. General notes: Tap the mounting holes to the chassis with a M4 tap. Tap the shock mounting and upper deck (if your car is equipped) with a M3 tap and use machine screws. Ream the hinge pin holes with a 1/8" drill bit (start with a 3 mm bit and work your way up).
