Bigtreetech TFT35 mount for Monoprice Maker Select Plus
Description
I replaced the motherboard on my MP Maker Select Plus after it died.I replaced it with the BIGTREETECH SKR 1.4 Turbo + TFT35 LCD package. This provided some challenges, including mounting both items to the printer. For the mainboard, I used https://www.thingiverse.com/make:822842 . But, I couldn't find a suitable LCD mount. I liked the build of the Remix source and modified it for my needs. This version clips to the top of the LCD cutout on the MPMSP, has 2 alignment pegs and a bottom support bar to keep everything in sturdily. The only issue I had was that some of the screw holes were slightly too large. I fixed this by wrapping the screw threads in plumbers' tape and also adding some hot glue at the edges of the mainboard to ensure it stayed for the long haul.
