Dometic Seitz S3 S4 Window Opener Click Clack Clip
Description
A common problem with this model of the Dometic / Seitz S3 / S4 windos is, that you lose the clips for the spring + steel ball when you don't notice it. I designed this replacement clip that can and should be secured with a cable tie. The cable tie can be applied as shown on the picture or all the way around the clip, if you have enough space. I used a 4mm steel ball from a dissembled 608 bearing and a ball pen spring to replace the metal parts. There is no way I will lose this setup again. I wish the spring was harder / stiffer but for now it holds the window open if there is no wind.
