Sidewinder X1 Z brace
Description
Z brace for 19.05MM x 19.05mm Aluminium extrusion. No printer modification required, simply use the stock mounting holes and bolts to fix the printed parts to your machine. The extrusion is a press fit for the top mounts but you could glue these in. The bottom uses M4 x45mm Bolts. Push the aluminium extrusion into the top printed part first as it's a tight! fit. Then measure out and cut 610mm protruding out. Dry fit on printer and mark where the bottom holes need to be drilled and then oversize them a lot to give tolerance. When final fitting make sure the bed is square to the printer uprights using a big square. I had to pull my rig a couple mm into square and then tighten the bolts. This is rev 1.0 so please don't expect perfection as there is currently only one set of these in existence in the world :-)
