FTX Carnage servo saver spring replacement
Description
This is a part to replace the spring and C clip in the servo saver of the FTX Carnage, FTX Bugsta range of R/C cars. This should eliminate a lot of the looseness in the steering system Print with the tapered part pointing up and use supports and I would recommend a brim to aid bed adhesion. I printed with 4 walls/perimeters In doing this mod you will need to put a servo saver on the servo itself as the original servo saver will be glued solidly together. If you don't your servo could be damaged in a crash I have outlined the basic installation on the MSUK R/C forum here https://www.msuk-forum.co.uk/forums/topic/138437-ftx-vantagecarnage-owners-thread/?do=findComment&comment=2514185 The bearing I used is 11mm outer diameter, 5mm inner diameter and 4mm thick, which should be available from any RC hobby shop or small bearing supplier The Fusion 360 file is included so you can change it to suit any bearing you may have instead
