90° Hose Adapter for PwnCNC Dust Boot
Description
My Shapeoko3 CNC router has a wall behind it that interfered with the 2.5" vacuum hose on my self-printed PwnCNC v2 dust boot (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3963258) when homing. To solve that issue, I created a 90° elbow to replace the original straight 2.5" hose adapter. This part snaps in place of the old part and points the hose toward the hose bracket (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3902618) mounted to the Z-drive. This allows the hose to be routed more directly upward to avoid tangling of the hose. This works with the v2 version of the PwnCNC dust boot and should work with the v3 as well. It is designed to be used with a 2.5-inch flexible hose. Since I designed this, I see that PwnCNC has designed some elbows of his own (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4446318), but I like my version since it provides a smoother path for the dust chips to follow, with less chance of clogging (at least in theory).
