Toilet Seat Hinge
Description
The hinges of the toilet seat are disintegrated(brittle and broken), but the seat still looks like new. From the economical perspective, it's probably not worth to fix it. A new seat is only $20~30, but the time I spent to design, print, clean, install is over 15 hours. However from the environmental perspective, the seat is still in very good shape and this can keep it away from the landfill. I printed this in PETG and was printed it slow (new to PETG), at 50mm/s, 20mm/s for the 1st 2 layers. With 0.24mm layer height and 30% infill, I think it took about 9~10 hours total for a set. If printed in ABS/PLA, I know my speed can go a lot faster and probably be done in less than 6 hours. [Final Update] I realized there're couple things I missed in the original ToiletSeat.stl, so I updated those in the ToiletSeat_v2.stl, Although I did not print it out, they are simple changes and should fit just fine.
