Xacto Storage Box
Description
I am learning Fusion360. The best way to learn is to do, so when I recently decided I need a box to store my Xacto knife set with plenty of room for other post printing stuff...I sat down at Fusion360 and made one. It's a bottom up design and was also meant to be an interesting large print. I printed this with a .8mm nozzle and it took a couple of days and a couple spools of PETG...so it's not for the faint of heart. Go big or go home. The intent was to use magnets to hold the lid in place...they aren't necessary. The lid has...weight. Scaling down is certainly possible but it won't fit the xacto stuff then...if you want to scale down, I have an empty version of this box here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4530291 I did make a change to the lid after the make you see here. It looked a bit plain, so I added a center detail. Lid needs supports, box does not. This is the kit I was looking to store: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TTRZ9K3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
