Brushless motor mount slow flyer
Description
This is a mount for fastening a brushless outrunner motor to a square fuselage. It will fit a square fuselage that is 10mm x 10mm (such as a "Slow Stick" in the photos). The holes for mounting the motor are spaced 19mm x 16mm. You will have to drill a hole or two through the section that slips over the square fuselage to hold it in place. You might want to use supports to support the ceiling of the cavity for the motor shaft. Bridging should work, too. On the version with the 3 degree offsets there is no ceiling and therefore no supports are needed. Use 100% perimeters - 20 will cover it. You want it to be strong. UPDATE on 8-18-2020: Having flown it, I have added a version with 3 degree offsets to the right and down to compensate for the P-Factor and asymmetric thrust. It made it a lot easier to fly under power.
