Ender 5 BTT SKR 1.4 Turbo Adapter
Description
This is yet another adapter for the Ender 5 to mount the SKR 1.4 Turbo. My power supply was too long for some of the alternatives and I needed access to at least the USB port. The only way I could solve this was to have a USB cable coming going out of the display hole and the board mounted the wrong way up. I also got an SD extender (https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07G2HCPLT/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_x_Y63bFb96385E7) so that I didn't have to connect to the SD with the USB connection which is quite slow. The mount screws into the normal fixings and then the board goes on. The board goes lower than the case but not lower than the feet so the lid can be attached loosely. Make sure to put something between the board and the lid (e.g. cardboard) to insulate it. The fan fits in standing upright just under the board and is held in place when the lid is on.
