Yet Another Battery Holder - 3S 18350
Description
This is a quick post for a 18350 flattop li-ion cell battery holder. This design utilizes the standard power clips used in the readily available cases shown in the background. Just pop the latch and the contacts come out easily. They pop back into the 3D print just as easily. There is a surge of new powerful 18350 cells on the market that could use support. This design will cut your 3S 18650 space-claim in half. At 1200mah in the new cell offerings, this is worth looking at. The design is robust enough to tolerate soldering to the posts. The contacts solder well but I suggest tinning the solder post before putting them into housing and making connections. The cells are meant to be pushed out from behind through the access hole. I've made the design element such that contact pressure is maintained while maintaining a minimal footprint. As always, Enjoy!
