Easy print - E3DV6 Part Cooling Fan
Description
PRINTING • Print .24 mm (or less) layer height - no supports needed. I used Priline CF Polycarb but ABS will work. • Part cooling fan is optional but can improve some layer details • Nozzle length can be fine-tuned for your set-up. In your slicer, un-check uniform scaling and adjust the z-axis scaling. ±5% change roughly equals ±1mm height. ASSEMBLY • Insert duct nozzle into the slot in main duct (see animation). • Radial fan goes over top of nozzle and holds it in place. • Clip main duct onto heat sink before fitting hot end fan. The printed part can flex better without the fan attached. Use two M3x6 screws for radial part fan Use four M3x12 screws for hot end fan Radial fan is available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RR2KGN9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Screws available from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MZ3TWAF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Recommended - use silicone sock on hot end to maintain even nozzle temperature: https://www.amazon.com/Genuine-E3D-Socks-Pack-V6-SOCK-PRO-3PACK/dp/B07779TP4S/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=e3d+silicone+sock&qid=1594517134&sr=8-3
