120mm Fan Flex Tube System
Description
This was designed to use a 120mm fan, with moderate efficiency, to increase circulation into boots and shoes after hiking. My setup also includes a filter, pressure booster, second fan, low clearance intake, and 2 x 12v ceramic heat blocks, to help in the drying process. I am printing on a Prusa I3 custom build with an upgraded board, 0.8mm Nozzle, in PLA, at 215C, 120mm/s, 0.2mm layer height, and only use support for the Y splitter. The Base printed in 5.5h, and the hose printed in 2.5h, the Y splitter is going to take as long or longer than the base. I deemed the pressure booster necessary due to the reduction of the fan(from 120mm to about 50mm), and constant variance of application(Flexible nature of the hose).
