Lens Holder (55mm) for Polaroid Impulse AF
Description
# DO NOT PRINT THIS. There is an updated design [available here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4686635). If you'd like to avoid having to use a metal ring, I don't get you (they're so much more comfortable...), but you can print this design if you want. I'm not your supervisor. Although, in that case, I'd still recommend to use the mk3 design as a 52mm filter thread instead of this one, or to mess with its CAD files to get yourself a plastic 55mm thread. --- This is a device that holds 55mm lens attachments (filters or macro lenses) in front of your Polaroid Impulse's main lens, to enable macro photography, polarizers, or whatever else you may think of. It's made of two parts, a bracket that stays on your camera and a "monocle" that slides into it and can be easily removed. ~~The mk2 design has some minor issues, the "butterfly wings" tend to jump out of the rail. There is a possible fix, a mk3 is in progress and will be uploaded once tested, but until then mk2 is still functional.~~ [The Mk3 design is available here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4686635). It replaces the butterfly wings, which had a tendency to get caught on absolutely everything, with a simple latch. It's also built to use step-up rings to provide a metal thread so you can stop fiddling with the plastic things. **ABS plastic or stronger recommended. This model has not been tested with PLA.**
